Daily Flexible Kitchen Hire starts from £1500 per month. These kitchens are shared between 2 businesses but never at the same time for production. For example, one business is contracted to produce in the kitchen EVERYDAY between 6am-4pm and a different business is contracted to produce in the kitchen EVERYDAY between 4pm-2am. Both businesses that share the kitchen space can access it 24 hours a day 7 days a week for delivery and collection purposes, but they can never produce in the kitchen at the same time. Kitchens are approximately 400 sq ft in size.
Every Daily Flexible Kitchen member will receive a kitchen with industrial fridges, freezer space, 6 ring gas cookers, an oven (combi or convection), double sinks, a hand wash basin, work tables – all this equipment is included in the price package. You are free to add extra equipment to your kitchen or remove any equipment that we provide if you do not require it.
Our kitchen units include extraction canopies for hot cooking, 3 phase electricity supply and sockets, natural gas connections, as well as a dedicated in-house maintenance and community management team to help support your business day-to-day.
We understand that food and drink businesses change the size of their kitchen operation regularly. In order to accommodate these changes, we offer the most flexible kitchen rental options that we can. We will never tie your business into a long term commitment. To book a Daily Flexible Kitchen Hire at FoodStars, we require a 3 month minimum commitment from businesses using our facilities. If you wish to exit the agreement, then we request a period of 3 months notice from you at any time.
Daily Flexible Kitchen Hire membership is suitable for any business that requires a commercial kitchen but does not need to commit to the expense of a private and exclusive kitchen on a full time basis. You will receive the same kitchen equipment and services as private kitchen members are provided with. However, the major difference is that your hours of production are limited to 10 hours per day. This option is likely to favour start-ups that are testing a new product or market, or a business that produces in batches, before storing their product away until they require kitchen access again. Businesses that share their kitchens are still able to store their products away in the kitchen when they are not present. Access for delivery and collection is 24/7.
